A meeting of Girls and adult women from Bat Yam women’s council and Women Parliament’s steering committee, with Suzana Wilford Shakov, took place in September 2011, in Michal Negreen’s visitors’ center in Bat Yam. Suzana Shakov, a guest of the American embassy in Israel, initiated and heads an association that aims at encouraging girls to participate in politics. She told the audience about her experience and insights and responded to the girls’ and women’s questions and comments.
